sneakers Unboxed: Studio to Street

From trainers originally designed for specific athletic activities to street culture staples. The exhibition allowed visitors to take a journey through the design process behind some of the most technically inventive shoes of today.

Designers in Residence 2018 & 2019

Designers in Residence provides designers in the early stages of their careers time and space to develop their practice and produce new work. Each residency culminates with an exhibition, public programme strand and dedicated publication exploring the practice of each cohort.

Illuminating India Season

Illuminating India was a season conceived to mark the 70th anniversary of Indian independence. The season consisted of two exhibitions, Illuminating India: Photography 1857 -2017 and Illuminating India: Science and Innovation. It was supported by a season of live events sponsored by the Bagri Foundation. The success of the season saw it win the 2018 Community Engagement Award at the Eastern Eye's AACTA Awards.
